Job Description
People Recruiter hiring corporate and retail talent for Lovesac, a company creating adaptable, washable modular furniture. Sourcing candidates, managing interviews, strengthening employer branding, and tracking recruiting compliance and metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with corporate department leaders and retail field leadership to identify hiring needs and create tailored recruitment strategies
- Proactively source and engage talent through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community outreach, and networking events
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for immediate and future needs
- Develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques
- Cultivate relationships within the organization and hiring community to influence the recruiting and hiring process
- Track recruiting trends, platforms, and innovations to maintain strategic advantage
- Serve as the primary candidate contact throughout the recruitment process
- Conduct phone screens, video interviews, and in-person meetings to assess skills, cultural fit, and potential
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers, supporting effective and unbiased selection
- Promote equal opportunity, diversity, and an inclusive culture
- Represent the company at career fairs, hiring events, and community activities
- Create job postings and recruitment marketing content for diverse audiences
- Elevate employer brand awareness and reputation to attract talent and increase applicant volume
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System and ensure employment-law and policy compliance
- Track recruitment metrics, measure effectiveness, and recommend process improvements
- Develop and deliver recruiting and hiring presentations and trainings for internal Associates
- Assist the team and management with projects and tasks as needed
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or related recruitment experience
- 3+ years of recruiting experience across all levels in corporate and retail environments required
- Experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment while managing a high volume of open roles simultaneously
- Experience capturing metrics and producing employment reports
- Experience with sourcing through the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, and job postings
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and external job boards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities with appropriate urgency, listen, solve problems, anticipate issues, and make effective decisions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and build trust at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to meet or exceed KPIs, goals, and deadlines while exemplifying Lovesac values
- Must comply with Lovesac Employee Handbook policies and work collaboratively with employees and clients
- Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation for mandatory meetings, conferences, company events, vendor visits, and other required activities
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of each month for recruiting events, job fairs, campus visits, and in-person recruitment
- Must fully reside in the United States throughout employment
