Job Description

Regional Sales Director responsible for driving growth and leading sales strategies in the DACH region. Overseeing profitability and building strong customer partnerships in technical and commercial domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth, profitability, and value creation across the DACH region
  • Define and execute the regional sales strategy
  • Lead a high-performing team
  • Build strong partnerships across customers, plants, and internal stakeholders
  • Execute turnover and profit plans aligned with strategy and sustainability targets
  • Set budgets, forecasts, and actively manage deviations
  • Identify new business, products, and opportunities
  • Lead engagement with customers, retailers, and machine suppliers
  • Translate market insights into new solutions and business potential
  • Lead major tenders & negotiations across the region
  • Ensure profitability across customers and delivering plants
  • Strengthen market intelligence and competitive positioning

Requirements:

  • Proven success in B2B technical sales leadership, ideally in environments covering flexible packaging, extrusion, printing or converting technologies
  • Strong track record in driving growth and profitability across complex, multi-market setups (e.g. beverages, industrial, consumer goods)
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution
  • Leadership presence and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial and technical understanding, enabling you to connect market needs with production capabilities
  • Fluent English & German
