Job Description
Regional Sales Director for GAF overseeing sales and technical management in Mid-South Gulf Coast. Leading a team focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction in building materials.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Regional Field Sales team and manage overall sales and technical management of the assigned sales region.
- Recruit, mentor, and assess high-caliber team.
- Drive professional excellence through coaching and managing performance.
- Assess and provide rationales for recruitment of sales staff and their geographic placements.
- Manage relationships with roofing contractors and evaluate needs for company inventories or distributor partnerships.
- Ensure all roofing contractors receive comprehensive training on Commercial application methods and specifications.
- Address customer complaints promptly and maintain professional communication across channels.
- Analyze market dynamics and provide strategic executive summaries to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years sales leadership experience in the building materials industry OR High School Diploma with 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the building materials industry.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel overnight 50%.
- Capability to mentor, lead, and inspire a high performing sales team.
- Extensive technical and professional expertise in the roofing industry.
- Strong proficiency in Google Business Suite; Salesforce experience is an asset.
- Motivated and energetic, capable of delivering effective presentations to large audiences.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-resolution skills with independent task management.
- Proven track record of building strong business relationships and following up on critical initiatives.
