Job Description
Regional Sales Manager at SAMSON handling sales activities and customer relationships in Ontario. Responsible for achieving sales targets and collaborating with multiple teams in process automation.
Responsibilities:
- Own all sales activities within the defined region of responsibility
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain existing and new customer relationships
- Generate sales growth for the complete SAMSON portfolio of products and services
- Hold face-to-face customer interactions and facilitate lunch and learns
- Resolve customer service issues and follow up on proposal activities
- Conduct Sales Meetings, Lunch & Learns, as required
- Provide technical support with documentation, drawings, customer training, site visits and demonstrations
- Collaborate with other regional sales managers, sales leadership, and other departments
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial or Process Automation sales
- Technical knowledge of Valves, Actuators, and other control components a preference
- Experience managing sales cycles between 6 weeks and 2 years
- Previous experience managing a defined region with direct accounts and sales channels
- Previous experience utilizing a CRM with all customer interactions
- An energetic self-starter with the desire to achieve challenging objectives and think outside of the box
- Advanced oral and written communication in English (French is an asset) with strong presentation skills
- Strong Customer Service orientation and skillset
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to deal with conflicts, setbacks and change
- Detail-oriented person with analytical ability and listening skills and an innovative problem-solver
- Strong MS Office knowledge and computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills to deal with occasional heavy workloads and multi-tasking
- Valid Canadian Drivers license
