Job Description
Sales Manager focusing on business development in LATAM for pro audio technology firm. Leading client relationships and market expansion strategies to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients in LATAM
- Identify and establish relationships with distributors, dealers, rental companies, broadcasters, recording studios, live sound professionals, system integrators, and consultants
- Drive business growth by expanding our customer base in music production, live sound, broadcasting, and commercial AV sectors
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored pro audio solutions
- Work closely with distributors and channel partners to enhance sales performance and improve market reach
- Set and achieve sales targets in line with the company’s revenue goals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and the customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure timely and accurate sales forecasting and reporting to management
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop localized sales campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Work with partners to deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for end-users and resellers
- Work closely with product development and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and improve product offerings
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and post-sales support
- Liaise with finance and legal teams for contract negotiations, payment terms, and compliance with LATAM market regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales within the pro audio, music technology, or AV or within a similar industry
- Strong network and industry connections in the LATAM pro audio and AV integration markets
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to develop and execute market-specific sales strategies
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely while collaborating with global teams
- Willingness to travel extensively across LATAM and occasionally internationally
- Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, addition of Portuguese is a plus
