Job Description

Regional Sales Manager for acquiring new mid-sized clients in the digital payment sector. Responsible for lead generation and collaboration with the Regional Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Cross-industry new customer acquisition for the mid-market segment within the assigned territory
  • Targeted focus on expanding the customer base as well as increasing revenue and contribution margin
  • Independently identify potential, maintain a potential database and evaluate implementation opportunities based on the full portfolio
  • Self-directed telephone prospecting, active lead follow-up including appointment scheduling and conducting on-site meetings
  • Independently handle assigned leads, ensure complete documentation and manage the entire sales funnel (Lead - Opportunity - Close) in Salesforce
  • Calculate, prepare and track multi-stage proposals, tenders and contracts, and prepare and conduct sales negotiations
  • Conclude contracts and subsequently transition newly won active customers to the Regional Sales Team for account management
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, talks and participate in trade shows
  • Nationwide travel with a predominant focus on your assigned region

Requirements:

  • Completed degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on Sales/Marketing
  • Several years of successful experience in selling sophisticated services to new customers; industry knowledge in card payments, network operators, banking, e-commerce or financial services is desirable
  • Language skills: German at native level and business-fluent English
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Driver’s license class B
  • Suitable possibility to work from home (home office)
  • Primary residence in the territory
