Job Description

Regional Sales Manager focusing on capital equipment sales in South Central and West territories. Managing relationships and executing sales strategies with dealer partners and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the complete sales cycle within the South Central / West territory, from prospecting through close
  • Build and execute quarterly territory plans aligned to pipeline, demos, orders, and revenue targets
  • Prospect and qualify new opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, events, and inbound leads
  • Manage and grow existing customer and dealer relationships
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver tailored proposals; negotiate within established guidelines
  • Safely tow, transport, and operate CMC spider lifts for on-site demonstrations, trainings, and customer events
  • Deliver equipment and coordinate customer onboarding and MEWP training sessions
  • Recruit, onboard, and support dealer and distributor partners; conduct joint pipeline reviews and co-marketing initiatives
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting in CRM
  • Gather and communicate voice-of-customer insights and competitive intelligence to internal teams
  • Collaborate with service, marketing, and operations to ensure customer success
  • Represent CMC at trade shows, industry events, and internal training sessions, including limited out-of-territory travel
  • Uphold company standards for safety, compliance, and brand representation

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of B2B capital equipment sales experience
  • Experience selling into construction, equipment rental, arborist, or access equipment markets strongly preferred
  • Proven success managing large, multi-state sales territories
  • Hands-on, technical selling capability with comfort operating aerial lift equipment
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Consistent, disciplined use of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely tow and maneuver a truck and trailer
