Job Description
Regional Sales Manager responsible for product line sales at Conair. Engaging with customers in the northeastern U.S., optimizing CRM tools, and expanding market share.
Responsibilities:
- Be the face of Conair to all customers within assigned territory
- Work with assigned independent sales representatives, Units Specialists & Systems Specialists to meet customer expectations
- Tactically plan interfacing with reps, inside sales, applications engineers, and other regional managers to strategize for each opportunity prior to quotation
- Travel to customers within assigned territory to reinforce long-term customer relationship and set territory and customer specific strategies
- Engage new customers while also working with existing customer base to expand market share
- Ensure new product introductions are communicated effectively
- Work with Marketing to establish customized plan for assigned territory
- Optimize CRM software tools to maintain and grow the Conair knowledge base of each territory customer
- Establish a strong working knowledge of Conair’s equipment offering
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, (or related field) and/or five (5)+ years of direct work experience
- Five (5) years or more of field sales experience, plastics industry preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively across internal and external teams
- Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining high standards of quality
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required and Salesforce.com is a plus
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
