Job Description

Regional Sales Manager expanding Federal Signal’s Work Truck safety and security product sales across the Northeast. Developing accounts, forecasting pipelines, and supporting distributors.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales objectives within the Northeast territory
  • Lead sales efforts to develop new account opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and competition
  • Achieve new business objectives and programs within the assigned territory
  • Develop sales funnel and forecast projections using the company CRM and Quoteworks Software
  • Seek new market opportunities to grow product sales through new customer achievement
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win business with internal resources
  • Maintain product knowledge to assist with orders, sales meetings, and service-oriented functions
  • Provide sales direction and support to manufacturer’s representatives and distributor sales teams, as applicable
  • Conduct territory product training, seminars, sales meetings, and trade shows
  • Report issues and submit expense reports to management in a timely manner
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field or 5 or more years of sales experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years sales experience in safety & security business or other relevant area
  • Experience with Manufacturing Product Reps or Distributors
  • Willing to travel at least 60%
  • Good organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
