Job Description
Registered Nurse delivering clinical, personal, and emotional home care to elderly Australians. Developing care plans and supporting clients across South West Sydney.
Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic clinical and personal care to elderly clients in their own homes
- Deliver care tailored to each client's unique needs
- Develop individualized care plans using clinical judgment
- Provide wound care
- Support clients with medical equipment, including catheters and continence aids
- Offer social and emotional support
- Travel between clients across South West Sydney
- Ensure clients' care needs are met with compassion and professionalism
Requirements:
- Experience in Aged Care or Community Home Care ideally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Registered Nurse Qualification with current AHPRA registration
- First Aid (HLTAID011) completion and validity
- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010), including Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009)
- Up-to-date COVID vaccinations and Flu vaccine, or willingness to obtain
- Current driver’s license
- Access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- Willingness to travel between appointments
- National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Commitment to helping older Australians live independently at home
