Job Description
Contract repair technician servicing fitness equipment, wine coolers, massage chairs, and smart home gyms. Providing in-home repairs and customer care for AIT Home Delivery clients.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, massage chairs, and similar products
- Read and follow manufacturers' manuals and instructions
- Build products to manufacturer specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service during home repair services
- Travel to customer repair sites using personal transportation
- Perform contracted repair work for high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers
Requirements:
- Repair contractor for fitness equipment, wine coolers, massage chairs, and similar products
- Knowledge and ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, and similar products
- Ability to read and comprehend manufacturers' manuals and repair instructions
- Own transportation to and from repair sites
- Own hand and power tools
- Experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
- Must have an EIN (federal tax ID)
- Comply with insurance and vehicle registration requirements
- DOT/MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Comply with state laws for the vehicle used to complete work
- Pass background and drug screens
- Pass MVR screening for driving contractors
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Tech savvy with a mobile phone
- Excellent communication skills
