Job Description
Retention Specialist improving customer retention for Bobtail’s supply-chain efficiency platform. Managing customer relationships, reducing churn, and identifying upsell opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer relationships by maintaining long-lasting relationships and monitoring customer adoption and satisfaction through customer outreach
- Collaborate with team members to decrease churn, increase retention rates, and improve brand loyalty
- Troubleshoot problems; address customer issues, complaints, and dissatisfaction promptly; coordinate with relevant departments to find and follow up on solutions
- Identify at-risk customers and develop and implement retention strategies
- Collect customer feedback to provide insights for product owners and the marketing team to enhance services
- Monitor assigned personal and termination emails and address requests in a timely manner
- Document customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions in the CRM; regularly report on retention efforts and outcomes
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell and provide information about complementary offers and/or new products
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of products, services, and value proposition to educate customers
Requirements:
- Sales skills
- 1-3 years of experience in SaaS and B2B environments
- Excellent English and Punjabi proficiency - written and verbal communication skills
- 1-3 years of proven experience in retention
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields (business, marketing, customer service)
- Prior US trucking industry experience is a plus
