Responsibilities:

  • Own the CRM and retention strategy end to end
  • Develop a clear CRM roadmap and independently prioritize the biggest opportunities to improve repeat purchase rate, retention, and Customer Lifetime Value
  • Develop the campaign and communications strategy in Klaviyo
  • Manage data-driven, segmented newsletters aligned with customer and business objectives
  • Further develop customer lifecycle communications, from welcome and post-purchase messaging through cross-selling, upselling, replenishment, subscriptions, and win-back campaigns
  • Build scalable automations
  • Expand WhatsApp marketing, select suitable tools, and develop new CRM channels
  • Further develop the subscription model in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Own the improvement of subscription conversion, subscription duration, and retention from a CRM perspective
  • Develop data-driven hypotheses, prioritize experiments, and scale successful mechanisms
  • Ensure clean, consistent data across the store, CRM, and messaging tools
  • Manage performance using KPIs such as repeat purchase rate, churn, CLV, and revenue per recipient

Requirements:

  • Several years of professional experience—ideally 5+ years—in CRM or retention marketing within e-commerce/D2C, preferably in the food or FMCG sector
  • Understanding of how email, WhatsApp, subscriptions, and other CRM channels work together across the customer journey
  • Ability to independently assess and further develop the required tech stack
  • Deep expertise in Klaviyo
  • Solid experience with Shopify, including events and data structures
  • Demonstrated success in measurably increasing revenue, retention, and flow performance through CRM
  • Ability to develop a CRM roadmap, build segments in Klaviyo, set up flows, configure tests, and analyze results
  • Excellent written and spoken German
  • An interest in nutrition, fitness trends, and the broader market is a plus, but not required

Benefits:

  • The opportunity to independently shape a central business area and actively contribute to the growth of a dynamic startup
  • An ambitious Löwenanteil team with a clear mission and a strong product
  • Flexible working arrangements and flat hierarchies with a high degree of decision-making autonomy
  • Personal and professional development opportunities
  • Flexible remote work, with a modern coworking space in Oldenburg available for on-site visits and meetings
  • Delicious food
  • A generous employee discount on our products
