Job Description
Roofing Service Technician at CP Rankin handling inspections, repairs, and installations for commercial roofing systems. Engage with customers and team members while maintaining safety standards on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting general inspections/scope of work for potential repairs/replacements
- Identify, locate, document and advise on roof system deficiencies and issues
- Make emergency repairs when and as needed to satisfy customer needs
- Provide a complete scope of work to be performed for additional repairs needed.
- Install service & perform approved repairs as requested.
- Interact and work well with owners, customers, co-workers, managers, and inter-office personnel, etc.
- Must be adaptable to constantly changing environments and work places
- Complete required daily paperwork, such as on-line service documents, timesheets, etc.
- Some Travel
- There may be additional duties and responsibilities required.
Requirements:
- Experienced on commercial roof systems as described above
- Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs
- Maintain all OSHA and other industry standards for safety and compliance
- Good computer skills helpful
- Excellent communicator, both oral and written
- Ideal candidate would have single-ply membranes, modified bitumen, built-up, roof related sheet metal and standing-seam/metal-panel roofing systems experience.
- Hold and maintain a valid driver’s License
- Pass Drug Screen and Background Checks
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Must have personal tools for the trade
