Job Description

Sales Agent tasked with telephone sales in the telecommunications market. Focusing on customer retention and satisfaction through various sales strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Telephone prospecting
  • Drive customer retention with a strong customer focus and generate additional sales through up- and cross-selling
  • Ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction; no hard selling
  • Create added value for alao customers and advise them on alao products and services
  • Handle written and telephone customer contacts (inbound and outbound)
  • Develop and implement your own ideas for campaigns

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in (tele)sales OR career changers with a natural sales aptitude
  • 2+ years' experience in telco, e‑commerce, marketplaces, insurance, or subscription services is an advantage
  • Highly motivated to sell with a professional appearance
  • Sense of humor, charm, and persuasive ability
  • Independent working style with above-average commitment
  • Extensive experience in direct written and telephone customer contact
  • Languages: German (or Swiss German) – native
  • English – very good
  • French – a plus
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Computer skills: comfortable with modern IT applications, proficient in MS Excel & Word, and quick to learn new software tools (CRM and dedicated applications).
