Job Description
Technical sales representative selling Kemira’s sustainable chemistry products and services to pulp and paper customers. Managing accounts, troubleshooting systems, and developing new sales opportunities remotely in the Texarkana area.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Kemira products, applications, and services to current customer accounts
- Identify new sales opportunities to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Facilitate technical sales support
- Service existing and new accounts, including on-site analysis, troubleshooting, inspection, design, and installation of feed and delivery systems
- Provide service functions related to the sale and maintenance of Kemira product lines
- Establish business plans with goals and objectives for sales and profits
- Provide customers with timely service reports
- Communicate mill requirements and opportunities
- Monitor Kemira product and service quality and address issues
- Resolve customer concerns to customer satisfaction
- Maintain sales information and expense reporting systems accurately and promptly
- Attend industry conferences and assigned company meetings
- Develop technical and sales skills through approved training programs
Requirements:
- B.S. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/ or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 3-5+ years’ of industrial sales experience
- Excellent knowledge of the pulp and paper process
- Knowledge of Kemira and customer HSE and Process Safety regulatory requirements
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record in assigned geography
- Available for customer phone consults evenings and weekends
