Job Description

adidas outdoor sales specialist driving Terrex/Five Ten retail growth through demos, merchandising, events, and product education. Managing partner inventory, launches, reporting, and field budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales and marketing initiatives through key retailers and outdoor partners to drive market share and brand leadership
  • Support retail partners through visits, demonstrations, sales-floor work, and local events
  • Educate retail associates and affiliates about adidas Terrex/Five Ten technology and products through clinics, visits, and events
  • Deliver product presentations to retail staff and customers
  • Engage communities and retail partners to generate brand awareness
  • Represent adidas Terrex/Five Ten at local and select national events, races, and expos
  • Lead and manage field support for Specialty and Outdoor Big Box accounts within the territory
  • Manage partner inventory and work with the Sales Representative to secure at-once orders
  • Manage retail partners’ back rooms and secure premium product placement
  • Implement merchandising and promotional activities
  • Assist Sales and Marketing teams with product launches, in-store merchandising, and grassroots programs
  • Collaborate with Sales Management and Marketing on National Account sell-through programs and in-store promotions
  • Maintain weekly field notes and submit visit, clinic, and event reports with product and competitor feedback
  • Participate in product videos for educational platforms and social media as needed
  • Manage the yearly product seeding budget
  • Track travel spending and submit timely expense reports
  • Perform other department-related duties and projects assigned by the manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education/Training, or related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant project/event management experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of the local outdoor competitive landscape and structure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Effective time management and multitasking
  • Ability to lift and carry samples and bags weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Passion for outdoor sports and gear
  • Remote work with frequent travel to retail locations, events, and team meetings
  • Frequent evening and weekend work required
  • English is the working language
