Job Description

Sales Support Specialist managing orders, renewals, licenses, and CRM data for GibbsCAM CAM and metrology software. Coordinating sales operations to improve customer delivery and manufacturing software growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders, contracts, renewals, software licenses, and related documentation
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, technical support, service, logistics, and delivery teams to resolve order issues and ensure smooth delivery
  • Provide customers and internal stakeholders with timely updates on order status and next steps
  • Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines, approval processes, and company policies
  • Support improvements to sales operations processes and workflows
  • Maintain accurate customer, prospect, contract, and opportunity records in CRM systems
  • Support sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management through high-quality data maintenance
  • Organize and maintain commercial documentation and customer records
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and operational processes
  • Act as a key contact for administrative customer inquiries concerning orders, renewals, documentation, and delivery schedules
  • Escalate and help resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Support consistency and best practices across sales support activities and regions
  • Deliver responsive, professional, and solution-oriented support to customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales support, customer administration, order processing, renewals, or a similar business operations role
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
  • Experience in software, manufacturing, industrial technology, or other B2B environments is a plus
  • Understanding of sales administration, order processing, customer documentation, and commercial operations
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems and business reporting processes
  • Basic knowledge of software licensing or subscription-based business models is advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Proactive problem-solving and a customer-first mindset
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Limited travel, generally up to 10%
