Job Description
Finance professional collaborating on S4 HANA implementation for aerospace and defense company. Engaging with cross-functional teams on financial integration and process improvements focusing on R2R functions.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with our digital & system integration team to support build, testing, and deployment activities for the Corporate/Enterprise Services instance of S4 HANA
- Collaborate cross-functionally to harmonize future-state business processes.
- Partner with RTX Business Units, Enterprise Services and Corporate Functions on development of future state process improvements.
- Support key system implementation activities impacting General Ledger and broader financial integration.
- Review Corporate ledger data to prepare for S4 implementation
- Support Corporate Accounting updates to Standard Work to reflect new S4 processes
- Drive alignment across Enterprise Services and Corporate Functions.
- Support change management efforts aligned with the oneRTX vision.
Requirements:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years of finance or accounting experience
- Experience in aerospace & defense finance, particularly within R2R functions
- Strong background in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Proficiency with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools
- Travel up to ~25% as needed
