Job Description
Security Advisor consulting on information security and compliance for higher education institutions. Assessing customer environments and providing recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and report on customer business and technical environments
- Consult with customers to collect and analyze data on compliance
- Perform gap analyses and recommend remediation steps
- Review customer-prepared documents for accuracy
- Participate in sales calls and attend conferences as a subject matter expert
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in information security or privacy
- Must possess at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIA, GSNA
- Understanding of information security, compliance, and privacy frameworks and standards
- Technical understanding of foundational IT models and modern technologies
- Ability to travel 25 to 50%
