Job Description
Lead the development of innovative learning and teaching strategies at Milpark for quality education and student needs. Collaborate with faculty and experts to enhance academic offerings in commerce-related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative learning and teaching strategies
- Collaborate with faculty and learning specialists to design and develop academic programs
- Design and implement experiential learning opportunities including research projects and community engagement
- Establish metrics to measure effectiveness of learning initiatives
- Analyze data to inform continuous improvement
- Collaborate through workshops with faculty to enhance innovative learning approaches
- Build relationships with schools and academic operations teams
- Support program reviews and advise on curriculum design
- Encourage faculty engagement in research activities
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in education
Requirements:
- A Master's or Doctorate in a Commerce-related field
- Several years of practical experience working in a corporate environment in a commerce-related field
- Several years of experience working in a higher education institution developing and delivering/lecturing in a commerce-related field
- Demonstrated success in developing and/or implementing innovative learning and teaching strategies
- Deep understanding of business principles and commerce-related qualifications
- Ability to lead robust conversations with faculty
- Proven leadership and management skills to lead a team, mentor them, and establish best practices
- Insight into the use of educational technologies
- Strong communication skills for workshops and collaboration
- Active engagement in research activities
