Job Description
Senior Accountant preparing financial statements and managing general ledger for global leader in supply chain solutions. Collaborating on financial reporting accuracy and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare month end close activities and prepare internal monthly reporting.
- Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements.
- Perform and review internal control documentation and testing.
- Prepare variance analysis vs budget and forecast.
- Monitor day-to-day bank activities and cash management.
- Assist in tax filings and compliance.
- Support Assistant Controller with process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Active CPA license - preferred
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office and databases; ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Strongly preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
- 5+ years accounting experience.
- Public company experience a plus.
