Job Description
Senior Accounting Associate efficiently supporting sales operations for hospitality customers. Responsible for billing operations, assisting with financial reporting, and managing customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare spreadsheets, verify checks and process orders
- Daily check input and deposits as needed
- Assist Billing Operations Leadership on Monthly, Quarterly, Year End financial reporting
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate team if needed
- Help customers with questions about their invoices or ACH payments etc
- Accept and process ACH and credit card payments from customers
- Maintain Accounts Receivable accounts and collecting on past due invoices
- Manage Oracle ordering and customer renewal service contracts with Oracle
- Assist in Salesforce processes and training
- Learn new software platforms as the business needs evolve and become more complex and diversified
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associates in Business Administration/Accounting, or equivalent job experience.
- 2 years of work experience in a fast paced accounting department or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Office365/Google Workspace, Salesforce, Workday, Great Plains, and/or similar accounting systems.
- Ability to assist with all aspects of the billing process and procedures.
- Working knowledge and understanding of GL/PL practices.
- Experience in reconciling financial entries and making corrections as needed.
- Knowledge of purchasing practices, bookkeeping practices and general accounting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- High attention to detail & accuracy.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving experience.
- Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible based on business needs.
