Job Description

Senior AI / Computer Vision Engineer developing AI solutions for robotics. Collaborating on product architectures and implementing state-of-the-art algorithms in ROS.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the client Technologies AI / Computer Vision / ROS group in technical discussions and meetings.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technologies to provide competitive and cost-effective designs.
  • Raise perception of client’s acumen in the industry by authoring or presenting white papers.
  • Lead the development of platform and product architectures in collaboration with technical staff.
  • Perform independent research and engineering studies.
  • Effectively consult on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Develop state-of-the-art algorithms in the field of AI / Computer Vision / ROS.
  • Translate existing imaging algorithms to client’s Robotics platform.
  • Develop tools for implementing and using AI / ML / ROS designs.

Requirements:

  • minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in AI / Computer Vision and Robotics software development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in AI and Computer Vision algorithm development.
  • Proven experience implementing and optimizing computer vision solutions in robotics platforms.
  • Solid experience working with ROS (Robot Operating System) in production environments.
  • Experience designing system or platform architectures in AI / Robotics domains.
  • Ability to analyze algorithms for performance trade-offs (accuracy, latency, compute, memory).
  • Strong knowledge of Computational 3D Geometry.
  • Experience working with robotics or mobile imaging acquisition platforms.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python (production-level development).
  • Experience working with Linux, including real-time environments.
  • Familiarity with modern code development frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
