Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer responsible for backend systems development for supply chain intelligence platform. Collaborate closely with teams and influence product roadmaps while working mainly in Node.js and TypeScript.
Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end, from architectural design and data modeling to deployment and monitoring
- Champion practices that let the team move fast without breaking things
- Design and implement highly scalable backend services, asynchronous APIs, and robust queueing systems
- Embrace a GitOps mindset to manage deployments
- Participate in technical discussions that actively influence the product roadmap
Requirements:
- 4–6+ years of deep backend experience
- Comfortable working in Node.js/TypeScript
- Proven track record of building and scaling asynchronous APIs
- Deep understanding of modern deployment paradigms
- Ability to reason about business tradeoffs
- Ambiguity doesn't scare you
