Job Description
Senior Business Systems Analyst supporting PACER Modernization Program with functional analysis expertise. Analyzing user needs, documenting business rules, and utilizing cloud modernization technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Support our PACER Modernization Program as a Senior Business Systems Analyst.
- Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
- Document, design, and handle complicated business rules for processing operational and user data.
- Track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
- Identify resources required for each task.
Requirements:
- Minimum of ten years' experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized in IT system functional analysis, preferably in Cloud Modernization projects.
- Must possess superior functional knowledge of task order specific requirements and have experience in developing functional requirements for complex integrated IT systems.
- Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross- functional requirements.
- Document, design, and handle complicated business rules for processing operational and user data
- Track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives
- Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
- Identifies resources required for each task
- Must have a BS in an IT related field
- Nice to have skills: Experience in Mainframe Business Process Re-engineering
- Experience in zCloud and AWS Cloud Modernization
- Experience in Agile Methodology to track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives
- Knowledge in Business Process Automation (BPA) tools, BPMN, CMN and DMN models
- Knowledge in leveraging Generative AI to document Business Rules and Requirements
- Knowledge in multiple database technologies like DB2, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.
