Job Description

Business Analyst connecting business and IT at Cibra, a leading fertilizer company in Brazil. Managing systems and providing technical support for internal and market systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain internally developed web systems and third‑party market systems, ensuring availability, stability, and performance.
  • Act as the primary technical support contact for users, triaging, diagnosing, and resolving incidents.
  • Gather functional and technical requirements, map processes, and propose improvements.
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT requests from functional specification through to user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor technology vendors and partners, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
  • Conduct technical and functional feasibility analyses for new requests and projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree in Software Engineering or related fields preferred.
  • Programming in Python, including object-oriented programming (OOP), exception handling, and data structures.
  • Knowledge of web frameworks for APIs and applications (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
  • Data and automation knowledge using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and automation/web crawling tools (Scrapy, Selenium).
  • Basic DevOps knowledge, including Git/GitHub and containerization with Docker.
  • Participation in requirements analysis, project oversight with consultancies, validation of automations, ETL processes, and data and AI initiatives.
  • Software quality assurance through unit and integration testing.
