Job Description
Senior Cloud Data Engineer at EY developing scalable data pipelines in Azure. Collaborating with business analysts to ensure reliable data delivery and governance in cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines in cloud environments (Azure).
- Design and maintain relational and dimensional data models, with schemas optimized for analytical consumption.
- Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable, well-structured data.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security throughout the entire process.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields;
- Strong experience with Azure Data Services: Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, among others.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, and pipeline automation.
- Experience with data modeling (relational and dimensional).
- Familiarity with Power BI and an understanding of how to structure data for efficient visualizations.
- Ability to work in complex, high-volume data environments.
