Job Description
Senior Consultant in SAP Procurement supporting clients in digitalization and strategizing SAP technologies. Leading projects for continuous improvement in purchasing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and support clients in the digitalization of their procurement processes and implement these based on strategic, centralized SAP technologies such as next-generation SAP Ariba
- Optimize clients' end-to-end procurement processes together with your team
- Lead (sub-)projects to transform existing systems into a new SAP Ariba environment
- Manage the entire project lifecycle: from fit-to-standard analysis to developing a roadmap and rolling out the new system
- Anticipate clients' needs and actively contribute to the continuous development of the team's portfolio
- Position consulting services in the market, identify opportunities and pursue them with the support of your coach
- Collaborate with IT and business colleagues to develop solutions for specific challenges
- Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions
Requirements:
- Completed university degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in management consulting
- Consulting experience in SAP implementation or optimization projects in the area of SAP procurement
- Ideally have led initial projects in S/4HANA or SAP Ariba environments
- System knowledge in one or more of the following areas: SAP Ariba Guided Buying, SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management, and S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement
- Strong understanding of cross-functional procurement processes and experience with AI-supported solutions, or interest in developing such solutions
- Analytical and conceptual skills combined with a pragmatic understanding of the feasibility of technical requirements
- Proactively drive topics forward and show initiative to help shape the team's growth
- Interested in and enjoy expanding skills to include other SAP procurement solutions in the future
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, depending on project needs
