Job Description
Senior Content Engineer growing Lingo.dev’s localization engineering platform through technical content, SEO, and AI-assisted distribution. Owning publishing, measurement, automation, and audience growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own content production and distribution from writing and publishing through same-day distribution, measurement, and automation
- Decide what gets written each day and how content reaches readers, based on founders' direction
- Produce blog posts, research articles, essays, changelog entries, product update emails, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, dev.to content, Hacker News posts, Reddit content, Google Ads, SEO content, example repositories, and demo projects
- Write about events, news, research results, and product features through Lingo.dev's positioning for technical and non-technical audiences
- Interview founders, engineers, and customers and turn their quoted insights into stories
- Publish on the company website and external channels and contribute to the content playbook and narrative
- Maintain weekly publishing volume and automate repetitive work with Claude workflows, templates, and scheduled publishing
- Own organic and paid growth across SEO, GEO, and AI visibility
- Track citations, rankings, compounding performance, and advertising returns using Ahrefs, Search Console, and ad accounts
- Report whether content drove signups, citations, rankings, or backlinks
Requirements:
- You write in plain words, state facts, and cut every superlative and every sentence that carries no intention
- You have published content that got traction, such as a newsletter with real subscribers, posts that hit the front page, or technical content developers shared
- You code enough to automate your own workflow, including vibe coding, scripting, AI-assisted development, and scheduled distribution pipelines
- You interview well and can obtain quotable opinions and turn them into stories through Lingo.dev's positioning
- You write technical, specific, mechanism-first content for engineers and can explain how a retrieval-augmented system works
- You can write for non-technical readers with precision
- You use Claude or similar tools daily to produce content at volume and have opinions about prompting, output quality, when to override, and when to trust
- You know what Hacker News rewards, what LinkedIn's algorithm favors, and how to get content cited by AI systems
- You use Ahrefs or Semrush and Search Console to pull rankings, backlinks, and AI citations
- You care whether content drove signups, got cited, ranked, or earned backlinks, and report the results
- Optional: experience marketing to a skeptical audience
- Optional: research or essays that changed how a field thinks about a problem
- Optional: recording and publishing YouTube videos or creating them with AI video tools such as Higgsfield or Hyperframes
