Job Description
Senior Content Marketing Manager owning multi-format content, distribution, and revenue attribution for TextExpander's SaaS productivity platform. Building its content engine across audiences and channels.
Responsibilities:
- Own the content roadmap and the point of view behind it
- Tell the TextExpander story to broad horizontal audiences and verticals including healthcare, customer support, legal, insurance, and education
- Decide what content gets made, in which format, and why
- Build a distinctive TextExpander voice
- Produce written content including blogs, comparison and category pages, customer stories, and product launch narratives
- Produce or direct video for YouTube, product walkthroughs, and short-form social
- Develop audio, webinars, live formats, templates, Snippet libraries, calculators, and teardowns
- Direct freelancers, editors, video editors, and agency partners
- Own distribution across organic social, email and lifecycle, communities, syndication, and in-product surfaces
- Build a content repurposing engine for derivative placements
- Partner on creator and PR initiatives, including sponsored, co-created, and earned content
- Work with the Director of Search Experience to optimize content for organic and AI answer surfaces
- Own reach, trial starts, activations, purchases, and revenue attributed to content
- Report on content-sourced and content-influenced pipeline
- Use HubSpot, Sigma, Mixpanel, and Ahrefs to measure performance, retire ineffective content, and forecast targets
- Report channel contribution to the VP of Marketing and senior leadership
- Build the content and distribution engine from scratch
Requirements:
- 5+ years in B2B content marketing
- Experience at a self-serve or product-led SaaS company
- Portfolio showing strong work in more than one medium
- Track record of getting content in front of a hard-to-reach audience
- Ability to identify content distribution results and what moved them
- Data fluency and ability to pull and interpret metrics that predict revenue
- Experience briefing, editing, and maintaining quality standards with freelancers, creators, or agencies
- Fast, clean writing skills and strong editorial judgment
- Ability to use AI while maintaining an authentic brand voice
- Ability to work autonomously in a small team with broad responsibilities
- Hands-on video production or editing experience (nice-to-have)
- Track record with SEO and AEO in a post-AI search world (nice-to-have)
- PR experience and history of distributing content through earned and third-party channels (nice-to-have)
