Job Description

Senior Content Marketing Writer at Availity transforming healthcare content and strategy into engaging narratives. Collaborating across teams to drive thought leadership and product marketing in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the development of high-impact assets—bylines, white papers, eBooks, campaigns.
  • Collaborate with PR, product marketing, subject-matter experts, and demand gen teams.
  • Partner with marketing and PR to translate annual goals into content plans.
  • Write persuasive, technically credible content for various audience segments.
  • Create multi-channel content that works across web, email, social, and events.
  • Maintain a library of modular content blocks for reuse across campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 7–10+ years in content marketing, copywriting, or related writing roles in B2B environments
  • Industry experience in healthcare technology OR health plans/RCM, health IT
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree or formal writing training a plus.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio demonstrating long-form thought leadership, product and solution content, executive ghostwriting.
  • Ability to synthesize complex topics into clear narratives targeted at healthcare executives.
  • Familiarity with healthcare delivery and financing, RCM, interoperability standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/custom GPTs) for content production
