Job Description
Contracts consultant optimizing OnTrac’s U.S. same-day and next-day delivery network. Leading territory strategy, carrier sourcing, contract negotiation, compliance, and network resiliency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead territory design, optimization, governance, route restructuring, and geographic realignment initiatives across the RSP network
- Support facility launches and develop capacity strategies and peak-readiness plans
- Partner on carrier sourcing and recruitment strategies while managing carrier concentration and leverage risks
- Analyze network performance, identify optimization opportunities, and develop business cases for network investments and design changes
- Provide cross-functional support for technology, onboarding, and operational transformation initiatives
- Deliver executive reporting and strategic recommendations related to network design and performance
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, customer contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and licensing arrangements
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Identify contractual risks, provide stakeholder guidance, and proactively address performance or compliance issues
- Maintain a centralized contract repository and manage contract lifecycle processes
- Develop standard templates, playbooks, and best practices for contract management
- Monitor contract performance and compliance while supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and internal contract reporting
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Expert understanding of industry principles and terminology
- Knowledge of standard office software and technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism
- Understand and adhere to the security guidelines outlined in OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy
