Job Description
Contracts strategist leading RSP negotiations, pricing, and cost models for OnTrac’s U.S. same-day and next-day delivery network. Driving compliance, governance, and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead RSP contract development, renewals, bids, and renegotiations
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, customer contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and licensing arrangements
- Develop carrier pricing strategies, negotiation frameworks, cost models, forecasts, and should-cost analyses
- Drive Driver CPP and network cost optimization initiatives
- Oversee settlement governance and financial controls
- Provide commercial support for facility launches, network changes, and peak planning
- Deliver executive reporting and recommendations on carrier economics, contract performance, and Last Mile network financial performance
- Partner with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Carrier Relations
- Ensure contract compliance, identify and mitigate contractual risks, and address performance and compliance issues
- Maintain a centralized contract repository and manage contract lifecycle processes
- Develop standard templates, playbooks, and best practices
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal contract reporting
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Expert understanding of industry principles and terminology
- Knowledge of standard office software and technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism
- Responsibility to understand and adhere to OnTrac’s Acceptable Use security guidelines
