Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer improving Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD for Spyrosoft’s German engineering client. Fully remote within the EU with occasional Nuremberg travel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation solutions
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Support Kubernetes-based environments and cloud-native applications
- Improve monitoring, observability, and reliability practices
- Participate in incident response and problem-solving activities
- Support SLI/SLO implementation and operational excellence initiatives
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders
- Promote DevOps culture and continuous improvement across teams
- Work on a large-scale engineering transformation project for a leading German client
- Improve platform reliability, automation, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure
- Help teams adopt modern DevOps and SRE practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles
- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms
- Experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident management practices
- Experience supporting production environments and improving system reliability
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and containerized workloads
- Ability to work closely with development and architecture teams
- Fluent German (B2+) and good English communication skills
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), GKE, or EKS
- Experience building internal developer platforms
- Knowledge of SLI/SLO concepts
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications
- Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
