Job Description
Senior Director translating Cargill’s animal nutrition strategy into regional priorities and execution plans. Leading portfolio, commercial excellence, and M&A initiatives across Europe and Global Salmon.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Animal Nutrition and Health and enterprise strategy into regional priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes across EMEA, India, and Global Salmon
- Lead end-to-end regional strategic planning and execution
- Ensure alignment with ANH strategy, disciplined governance, and delivery of strategic initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor and core member of the Regional Leadership Team
- Refine and execute regional strategy and business portfolio with ANH and regional leaders
- Translate strategy into actionable initiatives and align resource allocation across markets, segments, and value pools
- Assess the regional business portfolio and identify opportunities to accelerate growth, optimize performance, or exit segments
- Monitor progress, remove bottlenecks, and ensure delivery against targets
- Establish execution cadence with the portfolio leader and PMO
- Strengthen program and project management capabilities through governance, playbooks, tools, KPIs, and best practices
- Enable and mature Commercial Excellence capabilities across EMEAI and Global Salmon
- Link Commercial Excellence capability deployment to growth, margin, and mix outcomes
- Lead regional M&A, divestiture, and joint venture strategy-related projects
- Ensure linkage between strategic rationale, value creation thesis, and execution readiness
- Shape business direction and influence key decisions as a Regional Leadership Team member
- Drive alignment across functions and geographies
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, HR, and other functions
- Mentor and coach talent and develop strategy and execution capabilities
- Foster leadership effectiveness and develop talent pipelines
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, commercial strategy, or program leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating strategy into execution in complex, matrixed environments
- Strong experience in stakeholder alignment at senior leadership level
- Familiarity with agri-food, protein, aquaculture, or B2B value chains is a strong advantage
- Experience with MAJV and strategic partnerships is preferred
