Job Description
Leading Everpure’s Americas Partner Technical Managers organization for a data-platform company. Building partner practices, pipeline, franchise accounts and outcome-driven technical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and grow a distributed Americas Partner Technical Managers and managers organization
- Define the function’s operating model, including coverage, segmentation and engagement rules
- Shift the team from reactive enablement to a proactive, outcome-led posture
- Build repeatable partner practices with services IP and defensible P&L
- Establish practice blueprints across AI and data platform, Data Intelligence, Enterprise Data Cloud, cyber resilience, virtualization consolidation, Portworx and Evergreen//One
- Set practice graduation criteria and align tier, certification and incentives to attainment
- Hold PTMs accountable for partner-originated pipeline
- Institutionalize partner-led PVRs, install-base and displacement plays, and EDC and AI readiness assessments
- Grow a Partner SE Champion population measured on opportunities created and won
- Run strategic partners as named, multi-year franchise accounts with joint technical business plans and investment cases
- Own relationships with partner CTOs and practice leads
- Extend the franchise model to service providers and MSPs
- Redesign PTM metrics around capability and outcomes
- Build a trusted leadership dashboard with Partner Operations
- Position PTMs as orchestrators of Everpure’s wider technical bench
- Help scale the Partner Helpdesk and use field data to identify enablement gaps
- Represent Everpure with partner executives, at events and in Americas leadership forums
- Partner with Channel Sales, PAMs, District SE leadership and Global Partner Programs on unified partner plans
- Communicate Everpure’s Data Primacy and Enterprise Data Cloud narrative
Requirements:
- 12+ years in pre-sales, systems engineering, partner technical or channel leadership, including experience leading leaders
- Demonstrated record of transforming a technical function through a new operating model, metrics and expectations
- Ability to lead through influence across Sales, Channel, Product, Services and Marketing without direct authority
- Ability to build consensus with partner executives
- Deep understanding of channel economics, including reseller, GSI, distribution, service provider and MSP models
- Experience building partner practices or services offerings, ideally including as-a-service and managed offerings
- Track record of driving partner-originated pipeline and holding a team accountable to it
- Existing senior relationships across the Americas partner ecosystem strongly preferred
- Credible expertise across block, file and object, unstructured data at scale, hybrid and cloud data services, Kubernetes and storage-as-a-service models
- Working command of the AI data pipeline, data governance and classification
- Fluency in cyber resilience, virtualization migration dynamics and the competitive landscape
- Executive presence across partner CTO conversations and whiteboard architecture sessions
- Data-driven approach and ability to instrument before scaling
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and pace, prioritize ruthlessly and exercise sound judgment
