Job Description
Senior Director expanding Freestar’s publisher sales and ad monetization business. Building publisher relationships, closing strategic accounts, and driving revenue opportunities for website owners.
Responsibilities:
- Establish new relationships with publishers using industry contacts
- Act as a Freestar evangelist and create opportunities for Freestar’s product offerings to maximize client revenue
- Strategically prospect and close high-impact publisher accounts
- Use CRM data and market intelligence to forecast long-term growth and identify untapped publisher verticals or revenue opportunities
- Translate market needs into actionable insights for the Product team
- Lead internal communication and end-to-end execution of complex, non-standard deals requiring custom technical configurations or strategic alignment
- Cultivate high-level relationships through face-to-face, email, and phone communication
- Partner with senior leadership to refine sales methodologies and revenue strategies based on competitive analysis and market shifts
- Communicate goals and performance results to stakeholders
- Mentor and coach junior sales talent
- Report to the Executive Vice President, Growth & Publisher Development
Requirements:
- A consistent track record in Publisher Sales
- 7+ years experience and strong understanding within the AdTech industry
- An extensive contact list of publishers
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- A customer-focused attitude with relationship management skills
- The mindset of an Hunter; you drive change and you’re self-motivated
- Creative problem solving capabilities
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation skills
- Comfort interacting across multiple teams and management levels within the organization
- Previous background in the media landscape (linear, digital, or social) is a plus
