Job Description
Senior Director, Talent Acquisition defining and executing talent strategy for Marqeta’s workforce. Influencing growth trajectory and strategic advisor to executive leadership in hiring.
Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and drive the multi-year, enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy
- Hire, coach, and lead a high-performing, global team of recruiting leaders and individual contributors
- Communicate a compelling, long-term vision and sense of purpose for the Talent Acquisition function
- Shape and activate Marqeta's talent brand to win top talent
- Own the strategy and architecture for recruiting systems to maximize efficiency
- Partner directly with the Executive Leadership Team and department heads
- Develop and maintain a deep, executive-level understanding of the competitive talent landscape
- Lead and participate in strategic, cross-functional initiatives and projects
Requirements:
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or Human Resources
- At least 8 years of experience leading high-performing, multi-location, or global teams within a hyper-growth environment
- Demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic and tactical level
- Deep-seated passion for building a diverse and inclusive global team
- Superior communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Proven track record of initiating, innovating, and delivering complex, high-impact results
- Exceptional analytical, program, and project management skills for large-scale initiatives
- Extensive experience translating complex data and analytics into actionable executive insights
