Job Description
Senior Finance Analyst managing financial performance and strategic market expansion for the Commercial Bank. Collaborating with leadership and developing forecasts to enhance financial strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping to drive the financial performance and strategic market expansion of the Commercial Bank.
- Strong partnering skills and effective communication are integral competencies of this position.
- Monthly/quarterly reporting analyzing financial results and performance to targets.
- Owns the short and long-term forecasting process.
- Develops or enhances existing driver based forecast models.
- Perform ad hoc analyses on market performance including post-mortem analyses.
- Presents to senior leadership on a quarterly or monthly basis with a focus on translating business driver trends to forward looking risks and opportunities.
- Complete required external and regulatory reports as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)
- 4+ years of diverse analytical experience in Finance, preferably with exposure to banking
- Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively
- Strong financial and/or accounting acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
- Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved
- Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- Experience with data visualization applications (Tableau) preferred
- Experience with financial management software applications (Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, Essbase) preferred
- Experience with SQL and Google Big Query preferred
- Commercial Banking experience
