Job Description
Senior Finance Transformation Analyst at Intapp, automating financial processes and enhancing data-driven decision making. Collaborating with teams to transform financial systems and support scalability and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Automate month-end close tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting workflows using data automation and workflow tools.
- Conduct business analysis and stakeholder interviews with accounting, tax, procurement, and finance to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Support finance transformation initiatives focused on improving efficiency, transparency, and scalability of financial data and reporting processes.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Accounting and Finance organizations to implement innovative solutions.
- Ensure transformation initiatives maintain strong internal controls and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX).
- Apply deep understanding of US GAAP accounting standards and financial reporting processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with solid accounting background.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA/macros.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
- Experience with Alteryx and/or KNIME or other similar workflow automation and data transformation tools.
- Experience with dashboard development using Tableau or similar BI or data science tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to debugging and root cause analysis.
- Excellent documentation practices.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience at Big 4 accounting firms or equivalent; experience in corporate accounting functions at a public company environment with SOX compliance requirements.
