Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst at Impiricus delivering financial insights and supporting strategic planning. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to enhance business performance and optimize financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Continuously enhance the company’s financial forecasting and full P&L model, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain & optimize financial models for budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Provide monthly close support by analyzing actuals vs. forecast and budget, delivering clear variance analyses and identifying key performance drivers.
- Implement best-in-class forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy, predictability, and business confidence in financial projections.
- Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
- Serve as a business partner to senior leadership, aligning financial insights with overall strategy and growth objectives.
- Deliver actionable analysis on revenue growth opportunities, cost optimization, and capital allocation.
- Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to support strategic initiatives with financial analysis.
- Support long-range planning initiatives, including multi-year forecasts and strategic financial assessments.
- Financial Operations & Systems
- Support financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in key business metrics.
- Improve financial controls and operational efficiency across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or a related function, with experience in a fast growing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in data analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of GAAP principles, particularly in revenue recognition; CPA a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, challenge assumptions, and translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with a high level of intellectual curiosity and ownership mindset.
