Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst for HRTech startup transforming financial data into strategic business insights. Managing budget governance and controlling financial operations at impulseup.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and monitoring of the Annual Budget and its revisions (Forecast), analyzing variances (Actual vs Budget), identifying deviations and proposing action plans together with cost center managers
- Act as the focal point with partner accounting; receive and audit the “accounting kit” and trial balances to identify bottlenecks and ensure cost center classifications are 100% accurate
- Ensure daily closing and reconciliation of cash flow in Omie, perform necessary manual updates and organize allocations among departments and cost centers
- Review the tax/fiscal structure to identify accumulated credits and lead renegotiations of fixed costs with market vendors (software, banks, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to automate financial routines and budget validation using practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and AI agents
- Develop, automate and monitor financial and operational KPIs through unified dashboards (Excel/Power BI), providing predictive insights to optimize margins
- Develop policies, advise and provide consultative support to managers and the executive team, translating complex data into executive-level management presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields
- Experience with the SaaS business model and its metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, COGS)
- Solid track record and experience in FP&A and/or Controllership
- Proficiency in cash and accrual accounting, accounting standards and financial statement analysis
- Advanced Excel (mandatory mastery of pivot tables, complex formulas and financial modeling)
- Prior hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Omie)
- Sharp analytical profile, excellent communication skills to operate between operations and the executive team, and strict focus on deadlines
- Highly organized, methodical and detail-oriented, process-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines
- Previous experience in the technology market, startups or companies with a SaaS business model
