Job Description
Senior FP&A Analyst owning forecasting, payments, and P&L improvement for Finni Health's behavioral healthcare clinic network. Building AI-powered finance automation and partnering with clinic owners.
Responsibilities:
- Own forecasting, reporting, and financial insights for a portfolio of clinics
- Serve as the primary contact for forecasting and financial-performance questions
- Build and maintain clinic-level projections and monthly reporting with variance analysis
- Identify utilization, revenue, and cost drivers, trends, anomalies, and risks
- Produce and own recurring practice-owner payment calculations and payment runs
- Reconcile owner payments to clinic P&L, revenue, and collections data; resolve discrepancies
- Document and standardize payment methodology as clinics scale
- Analyze clinic- and service-line-level gross margin and COGS to identify efficiency opportunities
- Quantify proposed changes' margin impact and track realized improvement
- Partner with Practice Success Managers and practice owners to jointly own clinic outcomes
- Explain financial concepts to independent practice owners in plain language
- Build actionable improvement plans and drive execution through measurable results
- Use AI coding agents to build financial models, reports, and internal and owner-facing automations
- Work in GitHub by branching, opening pull requests, merging to main, and deploying finance-tooling improvements
- Automate manual processes and improve reporting and forecasting scalability
- Use AI-assisted tools for analysis, modeling, and automation
- Document, measure, and improve P&L processes as the business grows
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similarly analytical role
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets financial-modeling skills
- Solid grasp of the three financial statements and how they connect
- Basic working knowledge of AI agents, GitHub, Python, and software development fundamentals
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- High agency and ability to operate independently
- Relentless follow-through and end-to-end ownership
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with startup ambiguity and a fast-changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Multi-site / multi-unit P&L experience is nice to have
- Healthcare, ABA/behavioral health, or MSO/DSO experience is nice to have
- Franchise or partner/owner-facing experience is nice to have
- Business-case and margin/COGS-improvement experience is nice to have
- Experience with AI coding agents and software development workflows is nice to have
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases is nice to have
