Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer driving React Native growth experiments for Kraken, a global crypto trading platform. Building acquisition, activation and revenue features across the stack.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship consumer-facing features quickly in React Native and TypeScript
- Own experiments end-to-end from hypothesis, design, build and launch through measurement and iteration
- Use platforms such as Statsig to test globally or within specific markets
- Improve onboarding, activation and feature discovery to drive conversion, engagement and trading revenue
- Build viral acquisition features and value-add growth features on Krak’s existing product offering
- Contribute to backend services and APIs when experiments require it
- Read experiment results and decide whether to scale, iterate or discontinue initiatives
- Drive autonomous technical decisions amid evolving priorities and limited upfront planning
- Work closely with Product on a continuous pipeline of fast, lightweight experiments
Requirements:
- 6+ years of software development experience building and shipping large-scale, consumer-facing applications
- Strong, hands-on React and React Native experience
- Demonstrated experience running growth experiments at consumer-facing businesses with measurable impact on conversion, activation, retention or revenue
- Working backend proficiency; ability to design and implement services and APIs
- Openness to working in Rust
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with APIs, WebSockets and real-time systems, mobile performance, testing, and modern development workflows
- Practical experience designing, running and analysing A/B tests, feature flags, statistical significance, product analytics, funnel and cohort data
- End-to-end ownership of product features and a strong product engineering mindset
- Customer-facing product experience within fintech, digital banking, payments, trading or crypto is nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Statsig or a comparable experimentation platform is nice to have
- Rust experience is nice to have
- SQL and self-serve analytics experience is nice to have
- AI fluency is nice to have
- Native mobile development, distributed systems, microservices, or hyperscaling consumer technology experience is nice to have
