Job Description
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer building secure Java/C# applications, React interfaces, and Apache NiFi data flows for SAIC’s DoD systems. Supporting reliable software delivery remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure applications using Java, C#, or both
- Contribute to front-end development with React by building responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Design, implement, and manage automated data flows between systems using Apache NiFi
- Quickly understand legacy code, tools, and technologies
- Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
- Conduct thorough application testing and debugging to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Ability to independently learn the domain and technology stack used on the project to fill skill gaps
- Proficiency in Java and/or C# with experience building large-scale applications
- Hands-on experience with React for front-end development, including functional and/or class-based components
- Strong understanding of database design and development
- Proficiency in querying SQL within an MSSQL database
- Familiarity with API development and integration using REST or GraphQL
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Proficiency with Git or another version control system
- Active Secret Security Clearance
