Job Description
Senior Product Engineer owning full-stack features for Cosuno’s construction tender and procurement platform. Designing scalable backend services and shipping product initiatives across web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Own customer or business problems end to end through production
- Shape solutions and acceptance criteria
- Design data models and services
- Ship features across backend, API, and frontend
- Design reliable, scalable data models, APIs, and services for complex construction-domain data
- Make product and interface decisions using the design system
- Partner with Product and Design on strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data to translate business problems into shipped features
- Architect and implement modular packages and services in the monorepo
- Practice trunk-based development with daily releases
- Maintain Cypress E2E tests and enforce typing, linting, and formatting standards
- Deploy to AWS via Kubernetes with infrastructure managed through Terraform
- Participate in open discussions and constructive code reviews
Requirements:
- Significant professional experience building, shipping, and maintaining complex web applications
- Non-negotiable experience with TypeScript, React, and Node
- Comfortable shipping across the whole stack
- Experience taking features from loosely defined problems to real users
- Ability to decide scope and acceptance criteria independently
- Backend engineering depth in data models, APIs, and services
- Care for performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Sound interface decisions without a detailed specification
- Comfortable with ambiguity and product-focused decision-making
- Strong problem-solving ability in complex systems
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Bonus: experience shipping AI-powered features, including LLMs or agents
- Bonus: experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
