Job Description
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at a remote-first startup building innovative applications with a focus on collaboration and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge web applications and API experiences for customers.
- Work with modern React (JavaScript/TypeScript) on the frontend and Node.js (TypeScript) on the backend.
- Create secure and efficient solutions that drive the business forward.
- Leverage AWS services like ECS/EKS, SQS, and RDS to build robust and scalable cloud-based systems.
- Deploy high-quality code swiftly from development to production using GitLab CI/CD pipeline.
- Implement comprehensive end-to-end testing with Cypress to guarantee applications perform flawlessly.
- Collaborate with a team maintaining a high-quality bar, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Expertise in Full-Stack Development: Strong proficiency with React (JavaScript/TypeScript) and Node.js (TypeScript).
- Python experience is a plus.
- Solid experience with AWS, particularly ECS, SQS, and RDS, and a good understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and team collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress for writing and maintaining end-to-end tests.
- Aptitude for analyzing complex requirements and delivering elegant, scalable solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating discipline and passion in every project.
