Job Description
Senior FullStack Developer working on high complexity systems at Neogrid. Collaborating on Python and React projects to innovate retail technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead software development projects from concept through implementation and delivery
- Actively participate in architecture and software modeling decisions related to monoliths and microservices
- Implement and maintain code in Python and React, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions
- Contribute to defining best practices and development standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance
- Stay up to date with technology trends and propose new technologies
- Participate in code refactoring and SQL query optimization
- Develop code that handles large volumes of data
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests
Requirements:
- Previous experience developing high-complexity systems
- Experience in designing new products
- Ability to build solutions incrementally, prioritizing small, frequent deliveries
- Strong knowledge of Python and the React framework
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with relational databases
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with Automated Testing (unit and integration tests)
- Experience in code and systems design and architecture
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to research and promote new technologies
- Ability to provide technical leadership on projects
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments
- Strong ability to share technical knowledge and mentor others
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
