Job Description
Senior I/O Consultant modernizing career progression processes for OBAN’s federal government clients. Conducting workforce analysis, statistical studies, benchmarking, and leadership briefings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs assessments to review existing career progression materials and practices
- Analyze current career progression frameworks and processes
- Obtain stakeholder insights through focus groups, interviews, or surveys
- Analyze data using statistical methods to evaluate and improve organizational effectiveness
- Conduct benchmarking and identify best practices
- Recommend and develop career progression models based on needs assessments
- Develop implementation strategies, roadmaps, and tools
- Create reports and briefings to present to leadership
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology, public policy, HR, or related field
- 8+ years in workforce analysis, HR consulting, or law enforcement projects
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Proficiency in designing studies, collecting data, and applying statistical analysis to understand workforce issues and develop solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to interpret complex data and use it to make informed decisions about HR policies, employee training, and organizational development
- Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS, R, or SAS and computer applications used in data analysis and report generation
- Ability to work and communicate with different levels of staff and management
- Additional licensures, certifications, or training in specific assessment tools, statistical software, or methodologies relevant to industrial and organizational psychology is a plus
